Chalti ka naam gaadi. Chahe ho na ho purani. Ruk-ruk ke aage jaaye. Chahe petrol ho ya diesel, haaye. Bas aage jao. Jitna chahe humein satao. Marammat jitni bhi ho jaaye. Har koi cheez usme badal jaaye. Paint aur body pe jitne bhi scratches. Engine pe bhi connectors aur patches. Dhakka de-de ke jo aage badhi, Daftar tak pahunchaye ya kisi ki shaadi. Chalti hain, toh gaadi kehlayegi. Kaise bhi karke, sambhal paayegi. Toh bhaisahab, chalti ka naam gaadi. ......Aur badti ka naam - daadi. -RUELHA www.ruelha.com © Copyright Protected. I wrote this poem in Bambaiya Hindi. Here is the English translation:
That which runs/works/walks is a car. Be it old or new. Stopping-stopping, it moves ahead. Be it a petrol or diesel one. As long as it just goes ahead. As much as it troubles me. However many repairs it takes. Each and every part may be changed. As many scratches on the paint and body. Even the engine may have connectors and patches. By pushing and pushing, this one that moved ahead. Either to your desk/office or to someone's wedding. If it works/runs/walks, it must be called a vehicle. Whatever it takes, if you can manage it. Then my respectable brother, that which runs/works is a car. .....and that which grows is a beard! 😉
