‘Kahin Karta Hoga Woh Mera’ is a beautiful Bollywood classic from some movie that was released in 1974. It’s so good that there have been many remix versions. The one released by Anamika Khanna somewhere in the early ’90s is what most people remember because they obviously aren’t acquainted with the ancient version. Then there’s a very recent one. And although I like the ancient version the most, the print quality is just too poor to share here.
It’s about this cheerful girl who has dreamy eyes overflowing with hopes of meeting the man of her destiny somewhere. She’s looking everywhere for him, hoping to share her dreams and life with him. She senses he’s just around somewhere and so she restlessly waits almost desperately but it seems romantic. Ah, innocent girl!
Anyway, like all my music-inspired poems, I suggest playing the song{which I have embedded below for your convenience} as you read; it truly elevates the experience! I wrote this poem with hopes of making it a song one day. I think it’d be an excellent pick as a song for something like ‘Four more shots’. If anyone wishes to collaborate with me to create some good music in a way where we can retain our individual copyrights and credits, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
My Wonderland Beau – poem by Ruelha
Somebody, somewhere may be waiting for me Surely, I can't say this with certainty But in hopeful anticipation I live in my bubble of fascination! There's a man out there Who'll absolutely care Who'll treat me like his queen Just like the one in my dream
Somebody, somewhere may be waiting for me Surely, I can't say this with certainty But in hopeful anticipation I live in my bubble of fascination! One who'll gently caress my face Who's been longing for my lips to taste One who could just endlessly gaze into my eyes As if there's a whole new world in there, like paradise
Somebody, somewhere may be waiting for me Surely, I can't say this with certainty But in hopeful anticipation I live in my bubble of fascination! I've been roaming around looking for this man Although I really don't have a steadfast plan I just know there's someone out there waiting for me So in excited anticipation, I wait patiently
Somebody, somewhere may be waiting for me Surely, I can't say this with certainty But in hopeful anticipation I live in my bubble of fascination! A man whom I can share all my dreams with Like in fairytales, but he'll not be a myth I've been roaming around so restlessly Won't someone introduce him to me already?
Somebody, somewhere may be waiting for me Surely, I can't say this with certainty But in hopeful anticipation I live in my bubble of fascination! I know there's someone waiting for me Until I find him, I'll wait patiently And to you, I may seem like a mad lady Roaming around so restlessly But he's out there, I know My wonderland beau...

Kahin Karta Hoga Woh Mera Lyrics and English Translation
Kahin karta hoga woh mera intezar | Someone somewhere must be waiting for me |
Jiski tamanna mein phirti hoon bekarar | The one for whom I’ve been waiting restlessly and roaming all around |
Kahin karta hoga woh mera intezar | Someone somewhere must be waiting for me |
Jiski tamanna mein phirti hoon bekarar | The one for whom I’ve been waiting restlessly and roaming all around |

Armaan hai koi pass aaye | It’s my desire …that someone comes closeby |
In haathon mein woh haath aaye | In these hands(of mine), those hands shall come |
Phir khwaabon ki ghata chhaye barsaye phuvaar | And then the clouds of dreams will sprawl (block the skies) and make it rain |

Phir unhi din raaton se | Then, just for those days and nights |
Matwali mulaqaton se | For those meaningful(romantic) encounters |
Ulfat bhari baaton pe hum hoke nisaar | And for those love-filled conversations, I could sacrifice myself |
Phir unhi din raaton se | Then, just for those days and nights |
Matwali mulaqaton se | For those meaningful(romantic) encounters |
