Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep I've heard this all through my childhood My dad reiterated this lesson-so-good Nothing comes free in this world I did'nt comprehend the intensity as a little girl Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep He'd recite these words so often Right up till he was laid in his coffin Nothing is free in this world Remember this, my little girl Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep In fact, he'd always say If it's free, please run away They're going to reclaim it from you some way Some or the other way, you'll have to pay Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep Would'nt you rather pay by cash today Instead when you can't afford on a rainy day? Or even worse with cumulative interest Or in a manner or form that you detest Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep My dad steered away from all things free And honestly, to me, it seemed quite funny I'm the one you'd find in a line For sweepstakes, I'll happily sign Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep But, if you think about it, the man was right Sales and marketing gimmicks tease with a bite You end up purchasing what you'll never require For a sale, might change your wardrobe, entire Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep And if you think about Christianity Jesus laid down His life for you and me Salvation is a gift for free That's why we don't value it, you and me Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep If we had to purchase it with a price We'd definitely value His sacrifice But, because God's grace is available for free We just treat it like trash, so cheaply Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep Yes, grace is available to all for free We don't have to perform some exotic rituals or duty It's just ours to claim No price, no shame Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep But I'll tell you something, it did not come cheap He was wounded and bled worse than skin-deep Salvation is not cheap But free to claim and keep Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep When you open your heart and love somebody Chances are, they'll never value it until you're a dead body Think about how parents do things for free Their sacrifices aren't cheap, definitely Because free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep There's always a price to be paid Always assign true value to be weighed Either the person is trustworthy Or be wary when you're offered something for free Free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep Concern, services and emotions are definitely not cheap Especially over things that can destroy your sleep But, if your'e distributing these for free Make sure, the real value, they see! Because free does not mean cheap Reflect upon it; it's quite deep!

“Deliverance From Sin”
Your Closest Loved Ones
And Friends Are Going to Hell…
The Message i Hear From the Kind
of Christianity Here Locally and Online
Professed the Most
Believe In Our
Man Make Him
Your Only Savior
Make Him the King of the UNiVeRSE
Lest You Burn Forever With the Rest of
The Goats Who Refuse to Be Among Our Sheep…
Not Really Sorry i Tale The Truth As i Have Witnessed
This Way of Believing For the Last 61 Years in A Locality
of the United States With the Most Christian Churches Per
Square Mile While the Christian Onward Marching Soldiers
LITERALLY
SPIT ON ME
FOR SMILING
AS THEY WERE
AFRAID I WOULD NOT
GROW UP TO BE A MAN
FEARLESS ENOUGH TO KILL
SOMEONE ELSE IN A WAR
oh by the way HEHE Happy
Veteran’s Day my First
Cousin Burned Up
(V I E T N A M)
In A Helicopter
For No Good
Reason At All
Yet War in that War Then
Fortunately i Escaped That
Error of “Onward Christian Soldiers” too…
The Thing is The Man Is Jesus And Is Just Alright
With me the Message The Teachings The Beatitudes
And the Rest of the Teachings Censored Out Giving Power
To the People to Find God Within Without Any Temple, Mega-Church,
Or Roman Empire And Catholic Cohorts of Pope’s, Bishops, And Other
Officials Who Decided to Make Jesus
A God Man Instead of a Humble
Teacher Centuries After
He is Reported to Say
THE LAST IS FIRST
The Meek Inherit the
Earth The Poor Inherit
The Kingdom of Heaven
Within and The Truly Rich Are
Those Who Love Everyone Freely
DarK Thru LiGHT Yes Enemy Through
All that is God As A Best Way to Achieve True
Freedom Now And No WHeRE Else Yet Now Within
Again to Give, Share, Care, Freely With Least Harm For All
So All i Will Do Is Build A Temple of Words For Giving Thanks Giving
For the Gift of the Message For the Gift of the Teachings The Ones That
Do Ring True to me
And Cross-Culturally
too as of Course Many
Teachers Before Jesus Have
Brought the Same Message True
And After Of Course As Far As Shores
of Human Beings Still Stand With Love
For All With Least Harm the Altruistic
Ape We Still Are With or Without
Copious Amounts of Fur
Love Survives
From Birth
When Love is
Preciously Fed And
Watered And Gardened
All Across the Life Span
Always a Practice of Life
to Keep Salvation of the
Eyes of the Child
Trusting
The
Warmth of the
Breast Where Love
Comes Best Now And Forever now
Yes, Jesus is Just Alright With me the Real Man and no Myth..
Oh Yeah, Keep Smiling Dear Rue Have A Nice Day mY FRiEnD…
Yes JeSuS
is Just Alright With me..:)

Lovely poem, and important thoughts within. I am reminded of a twentieth century theologian named Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who wrote about “cheap grace,” about Christians who take the Lord’s free gift of grace for granted and neglect the price our Lord paid to provide us with that gift.
By the way, where was the photograph taken? J.

Thank you, J. I do take grace for granted these days too. I have my moments. This picture is very recent. It was taken up the mountains at Karjat, a serene place slightly away from the city. It’s a lot more colourful during the monsoon with different hues of green and beautifully cut shiny rocks {mostly white quartz} scattered all over the place. I love nature. 🙂
