They were a little family Two kids, mummy, daddy Squashed up in a tiny home Joined chairs to create a sleeping zone Or a mattresses rolled over the living room floor But honestly, they were very happy, you know But then all of it happened so suddenly And they got the house next door finally It was comfortable and nice And everything fit more than precise That was the target, the goal But after that fell into the bowl No longer for space they yearned But unfortunely life took a sudden turn First, we refuse to dream And when we visualize that screen Our deepest desires, the universe conspires And begins to set things that we require But it's ironic how when we finally achieve It's becomes time to grieve Death and a lot of other things happened And saddened their hearts that were just gladdened Spacious, beautiful and comfortable Yet empty from within, such a complex riddle

Disclaimer: This poem is purely literary. Please read it with an open mind and out of respect for the written word. To me, writing is my life. There is nothing I love more. I have a very creative imagination. Most of my poems do not hint at my life/situation. Kindly refrain from drawing such parallels. Much of what I write is purely fictional. Situations and examples may be hypothetical. I have always written about topics I am passionate about – Christianity, makeup, melancholic poetry, food, romance, women’s issues, soulful music, narratives, etc. Given the circumstances, my gender, situation, geography, etc., I feel the need to put up a disclaimer every time I write a romantic/melancholic/intense piece! Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But, please don’t interpret this poem in a disrespectful manner. That is just my humble request. Please extend me the grace of excusing typos if you notice any. I seldom ever edit due to time constraints. My writings may contain material unsuitable for children.

“Don’t You Think” “Like A Free Ride Yet
You Are All Ready There”
That Kinda Fits in Here
Yet Is More About Love
And Typically How Love Works
Out Not Exactly What Ya Dreamed
Of As Only As Real As Us Humans
Paint The Sunsets That Fade in Sunrises
That Don’t End Twilight At Night Just Please
Let the Peace Last
A Little Longer
Like That Space
On A Sunday Afternoon
After You Finally Get Relaxed
And Have to Get Anxious The Next

Doesn’t Exist
At All Yet
Some of Us
Just Pick Ourselves
Up Off the Basement
Floor And Get Used to Falling
Lower Carrying Whatever Smile
We Will Find Until Red, Red, Wine
Comes to Play As the FRiEnD Within
Yes Love That Is Truly Ours That Never Goes Away
Only Worth Giving And Sharing Caring Away After That
For We Learn
It’s Never
Ironic
to Master
The Peace of
Inhale That Love Exhales for
All For Then The Bride And Groom
Are Always Ours to Give Away to Others Free
