Until the tiger learns to write….

Until the tiger learns to write.
All will hail the hunter's might!
Until the tiger locks eyes.
You will never be mesmerized!
Until you witness his majesty.
And the splendid coat of his beauty.
How will you ever know?
Only with experience you grow.
Your own personal baggage,
Whatever caused you pain and damage.
Whatever has been narrated.
Can always be debated.
Everyone has a different perspective.
That could be rather subjective.
So rely on your own senses.
If you're willing to bear the consequences.
Which, in my opinion is fair.
Because my life is my affair.
I'd rather take that chance.
Sing in the rain and dance.
Do it my way.
Experience it personally, then say.
If the tiger was mightier.
Or was it the hunter?
My life, my way.
Nobody else gets a say.
Besides, the tiger ain't interested in writing.
Maybe check out after you get a biting.
We're all just trying to get through the day.
I'd suggest you use a little of that matter so gray!
Make your own inferences.
Tailored as per your circumstances.
People will always be.
Some don't even care to see.
Neither the tiger's stripes,
nor what the hunter writes.

Disclaimer: This poem is purely literary. Please read it with an open mind and out of respect for the written word. To me, writing is my life. There is nothing I love more. I have a very creative imagination. Most of my poems do not hint at my life/situation. Kindly refrain from drawing such parallels. Much of what I write is purely fictional. I have always written from my heart …about topics that I am passionate about – Christianity, makeup, melancholic poetry, food, romance, women’s issues, soulful music, narratives etc. Given the circumstances, my gender, situation, geography etc., I feel the need to put up a disclaimer every time I write a romantic/melancholic/intense piece. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But, please don’t interpret this poem in a way it was not intended. That is just my humble request. Please note, some of my writings may contain material unsuitable for children.
