A Thousand Years

It’s no secret I’m a sucker for romance and fantasy. And a movie that revolves around both of these ingredients is a perfect recipe for addiction. I am a big fan of the ‘Twilight’ series. Yes, I’ve watched all of them multipleeeeee times, although the first one was the best, in my opinion. Today, I’ve chosen a song that played during the credits of the movie where Bella marries Edward. A lot of priests and preachers let out warnings about the movie revolving around glamourizing vampires and devaluing the incorruptible soul for mere love, a feeling. Well, as you know… I’m Christian through and through. But, as a young adult, I’d look at the trees at night hoping to find my uniquely romantic vampire to put me in such a dilemma …one who would have been restlessly waiting for me …for a thousand years! I know, right? Aah, the fragrance of innocent youth!
