Lonely people have observation skills. There's nothing that gives them thrills. So in the stillness of their hearts, they draw complex diagrams and pie charts. They have scaled you head to toe. All your actions, thoughts …everything galore. Target is on focus always. You can sway and try your ways. But, it's bullseye. despite the tries. Because loneliness never departs. Once it enters the heart. It's the road they trod. Merciless, although looking for God. Once considered useless. They hone what was once toothless. Unexpecting predators, suddenly there's a new competitor. The mind is capable of so much more. If it feels the need to explore. The hunted becomes the hunter. Once courage they muster. -RUELHA www.ruelha.com © Copyright Protected. All Rights Reserved.
This poem is purely literary. It was in my drafts for a almost a year now and I just completed it. As I began, I was a bit clueless as to what I really wanted to convey, but decided to trust my instincts and go with the flow. Please read it with an open mind and out of respect for the written word. To me, writing is my life. There is nothing I love more. I have a very creative imagination. I have always written from my heart …about topics that I am passionate about – Christianity, makeup, melancholic poetry, food, romance, women’s issues, soulful music, narratives etc. Given the circumstances, my gender, situation, geography etc., I feel the need to put up a disclaimer every time I write a romantic/melancholic piece. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But, please don’t interpret this poem in a way it was not intended. That is just my humble request. Please refrain from attempting to draw parallels to my life as much of what I write is fiction. Some of my writings may contain material unsuitable for children.
I’m enjoying your work:-) Keep it up!

Absolutely, right on target Jeff. You always manage to draw the true essence out of most of my poems…
It’s about developing abilities and honing skills in the midst of adversities, thereby the predatory lamb or rabbit forges tools to reversibly hunt the predator.

Loneliness indeed broods a lot of negativity. We need to keep connected and in this, having the right minds is key. 📌

Hey there Amber. I think that would be fun. But, I have been trying to look for your email and am unable to find it for the life of me! I even checked my junk folder. Can you maybe attempt to resend it?
