My poem below is inspired by this amazingly melodious song from the 90’s which was the most popular song of it’s time back in 1998 when it was released. It is one of the songs from the Bollywood movie ‘Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’, which translates to ‘why fear when there is love?’ This film stars Salman Khan, Bollywood’s eternal hunk and Kajol. Salman Khan is a guaranteed revenue generator in Bollywood. However crappy and stupid the movie, he brings in a huge crowd because of his die-hard fans, although this particular movie was a superhit in its time. You see, at a time when heroes were flabby and all, Salman was the only eye candy with his six pack, intoxicatingly droopy eyes, bouncy hair that he flipped so often and Casanova-like charm that oozes through that impish smile. Yes, the man is both charmingly cute and seductively hot. In 1998, he was probably around 32, so somewhere mid-career. In the initial days, he was boyishly lanky and now, he’s all muscle and bulky. If you ask for my preference, this is the most appealing version of him. Needless to say, this song was a hit because of all the women drooling over this hunk imagining themselves as ‘the one’ he’s been searching for. Does that include me? You betcha! He’s acted in innumerable movies, almost a hundred and fifty. And, word has it – he’s hooked up with {let’s use the word ‘almost’} all of his female co-stars. But, not a single one of them has ever spoken ill of him. They are always willingly and cheerfully there to promote his endeavours. Well, they say – he knows how to treat a lady. Conversely, when he appeared on a chat show some years ago and he was posed a similar question, he blatantly exclaimed, “I’m a virgin!” That sent the host and viewers in splits of laughter.

Unfortunately, the one person he really seemed to be crazy about …and I would have loved to see this couple make it. I was rooting for them. Well, that relationship ended in an epic gruesome saga.
O O Jaane Jaana – Ruelha
I have been searching for you. My life, all through. But up until now, only in my dreams somehow. My subconscious gets a glimpse. In anticipation, my heart limps. But I haven't found you yet. Despite social media and internet. Baby, I long for you. I want just one person to be true. I'm already madly and deeply, in love with you profoundly. When and where, I really don't know. Maybe we've already met at the metro. Maybe you're a beautiful lady. And can be compared to a fairy. But know this, I'm searching. I'm desperately for you, looking. Because once I attain you. I'll keep as close as my body's tattoo. Close to my heart and mind. Oh my sweet one, where must I find? I'm already so mad and desperate. I cannot any longer bear this wait. Please come to me soon. And I will be over the moon. Take away my restlessness. And give me your hug's peacefulness. All of my life has been leading me to you. My anxiety to tame and subdue. I know, you are my destination. Now come into reality from my imagination. And once we're together. I know it'll be forever. I'll never let us part. Because that'll just break my heart. I have been searching for you. My life, everywhere, all through. But up until this point now, only in my dreams somehow. - RUELHA www.ruelha.com © Copyright Protected. All Rights Reserved Pic source and credit:inuth.com

I love you all doston na koi manzil hai no koi saathi hai phir bhi nikal pada hoon ghar se shaayad wohi saathi hai wohi manzil hai hit it!
I love you all!
Friends, there is no destination,
and there is(I have) no companion.
Still, I have started from home,
Probably that’s the one companion,
and that’s the destination.
Hit it
o o jaane jaana
DhoonDhe tujhe deewana
sapnon mein roz aaye
aa zindagi mein aa na sanam
O beloved,
your crazy lover is searching for you.
In my dreams everyday, you come.
Come into my life also now, O beloved.
mera khwaab mere khayaalon ki raani
kisi din banegi humari kahaani
aye meri bekhudi
ye kasam maine li
pyaar mein ek din
meri jaan tujhe hai paana
You are my dream, the queen of my thoughts,
Someday our story will be written.
Hey my restless-intoxication,
I have taken this oath,
that one day, in love,
I have to attain/find you.
o o jaane jaana
DhoonDhe tujhe deewana
sapnon mein roz aaye
aa zindagi mein aa na sanam
O beloved,
your crazy lover is searching for you.
In my dreams everyday, you come.
Come into my life also now, O beloved.
kisi khoobsurat pari jaisi hogi
mujhe kya pataa dilruba kaisi hogi
sochta hoon tujhe
chaahata hoon tujhe
dil mera keh raha
saare faasley mitana
Maybe she’d be like some beautiful fairy,
I don’t know how my captivating-beloved would be.
I think of you,
I love you,
My heart says,
now destroy all the distances.
o o jaane jaana
DhoonDhe tujhe deewana
sapnon mein roz aaye
aa zindagi mein aa na sanam.
O beloved,
your crazy lover is searching for you.
In my dreams everyday, you come.
Come into my life also now, O beloved.
