Oh dear beautiful tiramisu.
Do you even know how much I love you?
Of all the dazzling temptations in the world,
you'll always have my focus and attention, girl.

My body is craving you.
I need you inside of me, to chew.
A heightened feeling of euphoric bliss.
Just a taste of your tender kiss.

You give me that feeling of ecstasy.
When I'm depressed, you make me happy.
A tingling sensation in my tummy.
Each and every part of your body is yummy.

You're creamy and delicious.
To me, oh-so-precious.
I could indulge and delve into you everyday.
No matter what my calorie counter says.

You are a timeless piece.
Always making me weak in my knees.
You know you have my fidelity.
Despite your fatty cruelty.

Even when you treat me bad.
When you're gone I am sad.
Your mere presence makes me happy.
My lips always want to rip you apart all nasty.

They say the Italians invented you.
When the culinary gods created you,
Baby, you were made just for me.
I am possessive and can never share, you see.

Oh Baby, I want and need you.
The desire and passion in me only grew.
Sometimes, all I do is think of you.
I could never waste your stains with tissue.

I'll gladly lick every remnant of you.
And forever chase and pursue.
You are part of my stability.
I could never let you down with infidelity.

There is no substitute for you.
Only you can make me feel anew.
Many doppelgangers go by your name.
But baby, I know they are not the same.

They meticulously attempt to emulate.
But, with them my taste-buds refuse to copulate.
I can tell a diamond from a fake.
Baby, for you, I'll forever wait. 

You are a decadence of mascarpone.
Unlike all the other whipped cream phonies.
And a mild hint of intoxication.
To wash away the guilt sans hesitation.

A romantic hint of you on my lips.
Forever leaves cellulite on my hips.
Yet I can't get enough of you.
Oh my dear sweet love - Tiramisu.

            1. That’s what I thought. But, turns out, I am churning out posts as often as when I was limited to my phone. Phew 🙂 Typing is definitely faster though. And the view and typos are a whole lot lesser….no sms lingo 😉

  11. You milked a lot of sensuality out of love for Tiramisu. Well deserved love and sensuality. Did you see the movie Tampopo? It’s a 1980s Japanese film made up of vignettes mostly about love and food. I think you would like it.

      Oh but Tiramisu, Truffle and Theobramas deserve that kind of love 😉 😉 They’re better than people any day. And they’d never hurt you 😉 No, never even heard of it before. But, I just looked it up and seems like I ought to watch this one…especially since I relish a good noodle soup. Thanks for the recommendation, Tim.

  18. For a long time I never tried a tiramisu that I liked so I wouldn’t have related to this post except I went on to have one or two that were so awesome I nearly passed out! So I get it now!
