I'm only human. 
I'm just trying to get through the day.
Oh Lord, is there any other way?

One by one, semesters go by.
I pass; I fail. That is my life.
And still, I don't seem to qualify. 

I try and try. 
But the past has already gone by.
And the present seems dependent upon.

I'm only human. 
With acquired worldly acumen.
I don't understand your complexities.

Oh Lord, is there another way?
Can we postpone it for another day?
I'm only human. 

Do I really need this experience in my life?
Can you for once, please think twice?
I don't want to open my eyes.

Does this have to come to pass?
If you must, please fast forward these tasks.
Look, I won't complain about much more, just this little I ask.

My little brain. 
Feels a strain.
Must I really swim through more pain?

I'm only human. 
I have so much more to say.
Oh Lord, can we detour and take the other way?

      I’m smiling ear to ear out here….
      Aesthetics of this photo….lol…its just me and a girlfriend who went out on her scooter one day to the beach you see in the background….fun ride….followed by this pub…too early actually….but I always feel like I’m with a celebrity when I go with her….cos right from the bouncers to the manager and owner… know her and come up to chat her up. Yes, she’s a hottie with the kindest and sweetest heart of a child. ..carefree and bubbly. ….yes of course entry free at every swanky place like this one….cos either she’s dating the hot DJ or they all just know her anyway….now you wanna see her pic, don’t ya?😅😂🤣😜😉😉😉😎

      ….those jeans aren’t pre holed btw….they’re 12 years old. So I took a scissor and did it myself. I didn’t mind losing them to creative insanity😜😜😜😎😎😎….even added some embellishments and jazz.

      Desire to make a u turn….well yes. I once thought if God let me rewind time and let me do things all over again…I went on and on and kept resetting the timeline….well eventually I went to the days I was born….so I’d like to reset my entire life if that were possible….lol 😜🤭🤪🤣😉😅😜😁

  8. Boy this poem reminds me of my journey as a Pastor and Chaplain their are many times that I want to through in the towels because the journey is hard, and when I feel I can’t take another step God throws the towel back to me and tells me keep moving and begin again.
