Save the tiger!

Someone sent this to me a while ago.
A few months, I don't know.
But it's just so hilarious.
Don't look at it and be serious.
Of course, I'd like to save the tiger.
But man oh man, you must be wiser.
They are definitely two important issues.
Neither of them, saving must be refused.
Fortunately, gender determination is highly illegal.
And no reputed doctor will ever want to get entangled.
Of losing their license and to be fined and jailed.
Just to expectant parents the gender of their child be unveiled.
Of course if you're in that field you can interpret.
But nobody goes around and whispers the results to bet.
This has been a law for so many decades.
And I see the girl child even being preferred, not as a charade.
In urban homes and metro cities.
Women get more understanding and pity.
And yes, please don't be cruel.
To animals even if you think they aren't useful.
All of creation serves a purpose.
And nobody in the world is absolutely worthless.
So save the tiger; save the women.
And maybe if you can, even save the chicken.
Be nice to your colleagues and friends.
Because you don't know their life and bends.
And don't forget to save a spoon.
Maybe just hope in a balloon.
For yourself, a little time.
Spend out of your body in the divine.

    1. Oh yes most countries permit it. But it’s a highly punishable offence in India since way before my birth too….so you get to know your child’s gender only after birth…..to avoid female infanticide and abortion of a female foetus.

    1. Oh my dear good Lord…I have my moments of despise with God….but He’s not an all-hating God…..trust me, I’ve screeched and yelled, “I hate you. You’re not a good God. You’re a horrible parent……etc etc etc.” But, those are phases….πŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

    1. Indeed….for many years now I have had this desire to turn vegetarian because I realize killing is cruel and my husband has been questioning the sanctity of life and it’s limits. Why don’t we value the life of creatures bred for their meat? It bothers me but I come from a household where meat was part of every meal including breakfast. I didn’t eat a meal without meat. But I have been reducing that a great deal and I hope to …..hope to sincerely hope to quit someday. But then the question arises….what about the sanctity of smaller life forms….like mosquitoes, ants, bacteria etc etc….where do we draw the line?….it’s easy to rationalize but if we think about it in a more cogent way, it can get confusing…..
See…..I’m beginning to contradict myself and rationalize….
Maybe someday soon I’ll turn vegetarian too! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ
