  2. This is perfect, Ruelha. So many people want to meddle and nanny and think they know best for everyone else when their lives are a mess. I’m a strong advocate of “to each his own”. I have an unpublished song that includes these words

    “¡Dejame en paz!
    Leave me be to live my life
    Without your divisive politics
    Without your power struggles…”

    1. As a teenager right up to my early adult years, my motto was ‘live and let live’ I was a strong advocate of that policy and followed it thoroughly….or so I believe. Then later i cultivated very strong values and beliefs and changed my motto to the one you see on every page of my blog…..it’s a message of hope. I’m at a stage where I want to combine these two extreme viewpoints and find some semblance of balance.

      2. I don’t see any inconsistencies between your “hope” motto and “live and let live”. If there is breath there is always hope and if one lives, you should let them live. Show love, offer mercy, have empathy, and help when help is needed. Your example of loving life, loving others, respecting life and living life as best as you can is the living proof of your mottos.

        1. Hope is unrealistically romantic at times….
          Living is in the present….already with freedom….and to be given….
          And a whole lot more….but on a very deeper level….
          But yes, on the surface….they are not contradictory at all….You are very observant Tim…..I HOPE I can LIVE those mottos out for the rest of my life without compromising 🤩😍🤩
