It’s a powerful tool, everyone is using it some way or the other. It’s sad. Women are abusing their sexuality for favours and success. Men are lusting after women in so many horrible rationalized ways. Multiple partners, infidelity, fornication and instant gratification…..it’s just such a fallen world.
Both men and women are not responsible here.
Women need a dose in modesty. Yiu cannot wear beachwear to office. There is a time and place and occassion for everything. And men need to learn to control their carnal tooth. I know men who think some countries have it all sorted by making it compulsory to cover women up complete head to toe and women must be curtained up to prevent temptation. Fenugreek is bitter…
That’s the English word….but most of us know it as methi.
Methi grows in sandy soil so it’s very easy to grow your own. There are varieties. The most common one has tiny small leaves and is a very tiny plant. We make methi veggies and paratha. Leafy Methi paratha (indian flatbread) is delicious.
You also get a different variety up north. Those leaves are big and used in many gravies like methi chicken….they balance out in a complex gravy. We also get methi seeds which are like tiny little stones…. if you soak them, they are ground and used to make certain south indian batters ….making the dosas ( fried rice bread)….like a pancake but savoury….nice and crispy….also I hear it’s very good for diabetics….so we mix the powder in our flours too….
