Down below,
the ocean floor,
lots of things to explore.

Down below,
the ocean floor.
Yes, it's true there's a lot more.

Down below,
the ocean floor,
Do you really need to know?

Do you really need to look down?
You ain't gonna find some big crown!
If anything, you'll just drown.

No man has ever reached the bottom.
Whether you try in spring or autumn!
At times it may appear tantalizing and awesome.

But truth is - you cannot survive.
You won't stay alive.
The ocean is deep.
You'll end up a lost sheep.

It's dark and cold.
You'll only grow bitter and old.
If you attempt to delve,
Into this bottomless well.

Have you ever heard of extremophiles?
Different life forms that you won't recognize.
Undiscovered creatures beneath the sea.
Don't look down; stop this idiocy.

It's only an estimate.
The depth and details, only speculate.
You're not equipped,
to take a dip.

It will swallow you whole,
like a maki roll.
Don't listen to their invitations. 
Don't give in to the temptations.

Just don't look down.
Marine spirits waiting to pull your gown.
Just give Him your hand.
He will take you safely to land.

He'll take you to the shore.
You don't need to know more.
What, how, when and why?
Not important, just abide.

Does it matter how you walk on water?
Focus on Him, not the ocean and matters.
Just keep your eyes only on Him.
And you will not need to struggle and swim.

I remind myself constantly, you know?
Not to look at the current, the waves or the undertow.
Just don't look below.
Only lies or facts they will show.

The truth is still greater than these.
You don't have to be strong like Hercules.
In weakness, made perfect.
Don't look down at worldly intellect.

When you're flying without any wings.
Don't look down to plan your landing.
He'll ensure you land near silver springs.
Around green pastures, forever standing.

You don't need to know what's there below.
Disappointment, heartache or sorrow.
Just smile in your heart and enjoy the flow,
trusting completely without looking down below.
