The only cause could be unfaithfulness. Only because of such awfulness. Otherwise he will be held guilty, for cause of her adultery. Because if she marries again, the man who will, her attain, he commits adultery too. That is how Matthew construes. If that man marries another, against the first number, adultery against his original spouse, the mastered woman of the house. This is as per the book of Mark. Minces no words, appears stark. A man who divorces and remarries, commits adultery. As per the gospel of Luke, this is my discovery. And the man who marries the divorced woman, commits adultery too, for him too - no buffer, no cushion. I understand this is a controversial subject. Not intended to hurt or disrespect. Just like.... I used to lie all the time. Lying's not right; to tell you that, I have the spine. I could have my reasons and be doing it at gunpoint, But a lie is still a lie, not here to pinpoint. A lie does not become the truth, However reasonable, even if it should. It could be a good option. Could even be right by conscience. But a lie cannot be converted to the truth. Just like a wise old man cannot be called a youth. To each his own; but I'll explain why. Individual cases, please visit your pastor nearby. This poem does not aim to judge or condemn. But a reminder of the sanctity of those vows solemn. Let's begin with what you've already heard. No longer seperate beings, that title conferred. No longer two, but one. For reasons listed, cannot be undone. Joined by Spirit into one flesh. Think wisely, if this concept you detest. In the beginning, God made them both male and female. He Himself concocted and ordained this cocktail. What God has joined together, no one can put asunder. Because nobody cuts through what is fortified by blood, not even the deceiver pretending to be a stud. A Christian marriage is a sacrament. Beyond legality, a fortified covenant where God is present. When you drink from the cup of the blood of Jesus, you fortify the covenant; do you comprehend the genius? The blood of the new and everlasting covenant, is stronger than any legal document. A chord of three strands is not easily broken. But do you remember the third, or is He forsaken? Still joined in the flesh if you divorce and remarry. Hence, in the spirit realm still considered adultery. The vows state 'till death do us apart.' The moment to think was before reciting them, sweetheart. You're up until death. Even if you have a few regrets. But if you understand it correctly, it can work to your benefit especially. God knows we are all incompatible. And friction between couples can become flammable. There's nothing God hasn't already seen. He watches everything on a big screen. Even addiction, abuse, adultery. Upbringing differences, finances, extended family. Marriage is like a school. Just one arrow, honing two jewels. You learn to tolerate, love and respect. Despite every flaw, fight, difference and defect. Today, a lot of couples split because they're unhappy. That is the self-centered reflection of humanity. Because love is not self-seething; it is patient and kind. It lies in giving and sacrificing and even being deaf or blind. God is encouraging you to practise agape love. In forgiveness and sacrifice, with grace from above. A Catholic church will only grant you an annulment. That means proving the marriage never really happened. Because no one can break what God has joined, unless it was never joined, not spiritually intertwined. The church permits a physical seperation at times. But never a divorce or anything on those lines. You can be legally divorced and that's fine by law. But in God's eyes, from the truth, that's far. If a legally divorced Catholic enters into a second civil marriage, Unable to contravene God's union, hence not recognized by the church, discouraged. Oh, God's not a sadist; He doesn't want you to be unhappy. Practicing agape love melts even hardened hearts, do you savvy? God is love; and when He's around, every infirmity is made sound. God Himself instituted marriage, selfless love, to teach this message. -RUELHA www.ruelha.com (Inspired by Matthew 5:32) © Copyright Protected. All Rights Reserved.
This poem is not intended to hurt, judge, condemn or criticize any person or group. I understand there are a lot of intricacies involving a marriage and divorce can happen to just about anybody. I firmly believe if we are outsiders, we must be accepting and loving towards all, including divorced couples, remarried couples, homosexuals etc. That is the greatest commandment afterall. A second, third, fourth, subsequent marriages would be considered adultery in the eyes of God just as fornication is considered a sin. More than half of the population indulges in sex before marriage. That does not make it right though. It does not make it more acceptable than adultery. Just like the example I have in the poem, the wages of sin, all sin, any sin is death, spiritual death. That means even a lie, maybe a white lie… that too causes spiritual death. Judgement is reserved for God alone. Whether a lie is worse or adultery is worse, that’s His decision, not ours. Whoever hasn’t sinned may cast the first stone. But fortunately, we live in a time of grace. God has already paid the price for every imaginable sin. So now, every sin is redeemable by grace. That does not mean we abuse grace. Grace is not a license to sin or stagnate in sin. It is the reason we attempt to pursue a better path, God’s light…. which may seem difficult but He gives us His holy grace.
It is my desire to study the four gospels. Writing poems helps me put some thought into it thereby making it fun to learn and remember. I was stuck on the book of Matthew for years and never really completed more than the first five chapters until I began writing ‘the Matthew Series‘. Now, I’m revising the contents of the book of Mathew by writing another series of poems titled ‘Inspired by Matthew‘. This one will not be as comprehensive as ‘the Matthew Series’ and may not be in an orderly sequence. This particular poem is the 14th in the series. I recommend reading the actual Bible because it’s a whole lot better than my poems. I’d be overjoyed if anyone out there would like to be part of this experience and go through the book of Matthew with me. I hope you enjoy reading each piece as much as I did writing them. This poem is purely literary. Please read it with an open mind and out of respect for the written word. To me, writing is my life. There is nothing I love more. I have a very creative imagination. I have always written from my heart …about topics that I am passionate about – Christianity, makeup, poetry, … More
So, this song that inspired me is from a very cute (2007)movie that I really like. It’s very cheesy and unrealistically Bollywood. But that’s exactly what I like…..a romantic fantasy dream world. Reality sucks anyway. When I watch a movie, I want to see and feel those pink effervescent bubbles! So, the actors in this … More
