From belief to faith and trust

Most of us believe,
in the concept of God.
There hardly deceived.
Captured by fraud.
Some still blinded.
Likely the high-minded.

        Happy with that much.
        Languish, most people are such.
        Come trials and tribulations,
        Closer to this revelation.
        Must seek faith,
        before it's too late.

Faith is the assurance of things.
Begins with hope, but then brings.
                 The conviction of things unseen.
                 Moving mountains and breaking routines.
                 It's about seeing the outcome,
even before the deed is done.

Many of us have this faith.
Learn the laws and you'll bathe.
No good thing shall you lack.
Faith always works, has your back.
        It comes by hearing.
        Definitely a good thing.

I may believe in the God concept.
I have faith in my subordinate's prospects.
I know their capability.
They have proven credibility.
I have faith in the outcome.
Know they'll stand by their word, unlike everyone.

I may have faith in your prowess to get the job done.
But I don't trust just about anyone.
        Fools trust in men easily.
        Until proven they were silly.
While faith is forged in the fires of hardship,
trust emerges from the depths of the heart's pit.

Abraham didn't just have faith in God's promise.
Through Isaac, father of many nations, judged Him honest.
St. Stephen didn't have faith in God to release him.
Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego had something more than faith.
They put their trust in God.
Surrendered to the will of the one they awed.

Faith is the substance that will part the seas.
Trust will make you dive into the water even if no land you see.
Trust means irrespective of your performance.
I will obey and walk in accordance.
You are my God; in you I trust.
        I don't need a reason; I'm your dust.

The furnace will be seven times hotter.
Hemorrhaging with stones and no water.
Life seeping away on the cross,
my future, my joy, my boy Isaac to be lost.
                 Trust is a bigger compliment.
                 Sometimes, misinterpreted to be incompetent.

Faith may teach you patience.
Patience reveals trust.
Once you're there, cannot rust.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Lean not on your own understanding.
Let us not grow weary of doing good.
All things He instructed, in patience we should.

My blog is all about things that I am passionate about. I don’t intend putting up anything I do not agree with here. I began my journey of seeking God and peace several years ago and I discovered intangible elements after a thorough introspection. I am still in pursuit and have not reached that destination yet. I’m still learning and I have questions too. I genuinely believe in the power, love, grace of the Almighty. That being said, I am not a preacher, pastor, theologian or religious person. My understanding is (as per scriptures) that you shall never test God (excepting one condition, as explained in Malachi which I hope to cover in the next few months). This implies that if you are in a situation requiring healing, God will certainly heal you provided the spiritual laws are applicable. But, you dare not test God by intentionally putting yourself in a situation where you require healing and divine intervention. For example, don’t gulp down poison and say now God is obliged to save me and heal me because I have faith. That’s testing God and even Jesus did not dare to do that when the devil tempted Him. I have made this note keeping in mind the current situation of the world and the controversies despite putting up a disclaimer every time. Yes, please pray for healing. Claim your miracle in faith. But please don’t walk around without a mask or walk into a quarantined zone surrounded by covid19 patients. That’s not how it works, okay. Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s…..follow the law of the land! When you trust in God wholeheartedly, it is a form of submissive acceptance. Being acquainted with the nature of God, spiritual laws and being in sync with the spirit will help you discern His will. Take a good look at your intentions and this process becomes a bit easier. Trusting in God and trusting in luck/fate are two very seperate things.

    1. I respect your beliefs and opinion Yernasia. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read and comment. But, I really don’t believe in goddess Asherah or recognize her as the wife of the great ‘I Am’. It is contradictory to my beliefs, as discussed in length with you before.
Peace and Light to you my friend.🎀🙏🏼💐
