When it was noon, darkness covered the earth in gloom. The light went out for a whole three hours; but in the spirit realm, busy was each and every power. Then at 3 o'clock, He let out a loud squawk. He hung with the sin of all mankind. like the bronze serpent on that pole entwined. Alone in the flesh, He cried out in a loud voice. The sin-detesting God abandoned Him, now Holy Spirit devoid. Eloi Eloi, lema sabachthani? My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? "Look, He's calling for Elijah", they said. Sins of this world upon His immaculate head. No mercy, they diped bitter herbs in vinegar. Put it upon a stick to His mouth, so sinister. Wait, let's see if Elijah will come to save, this self-proclaimed Son of God from the grave. Then, the curtain in the temple... something happened, so special. Tore from top to bottom, the significance is so awesome! No longer a separation, from God and the crown of His creation. Christ now, the bridge between The Holy Place, and The Holy of Holies, no longer man must cover his face. We have a new high priest, who takes us directly to heaven's mercy seat. Beyond the curtain divider, to fraternize with God, the Father. No man worthy to achieve this feat. God Himself tore the divider from heaven to earth, salvation is now complete. The earth shook, the rocks split. and the graves of good men opened from the pits. Raised to life, they left their graves. Sin and death conquered, no longer we are slaves. After Jesus rose, they went to the Holy City, where witnesses seen them out there undeniably. The centurion and the guards saw the earthquake. Watching Him all the while, their minds now awake. Terrified, "He really was the Son of God!" Not some random imposter or fraud. -RUELHA www.ruelha.com (Inspired by Matthew 27:45-55) Check out the Tabernacle diagram, as described in Exodus and Ezekiel....read around chapter 26 and 41 respectively.
