You killed my brothers, Paul!
No, your'e mistaken; have you had alcohol?
Aren't you the one from Tarsus?
Yeah, but on my way to Damascus,
off the horse I did fall.
That's when I heard the call.
Why do you persecute me?
And after that I couldn't see.
That's quite a story; but, you killed them, Paul!
Hundreds of persecuted Christians, corpses on the ground lay sprawled.
The first ever Christian martyr...
St. Stephen stoned to death, for starters!
I won't get with you into a brawl.
But you got the wrong guy; that was Saul!
Ananias came and visited me.
Since then, I've been on a preaching spree.
You killed my people, Paul!
How can you hold your head up high and stand tall?
I am not the same person.
I have been through a conversion!
Even a thorn in my flesh...
did not deter me. I preached as fresh.
All through Asia Minor and Europe.
The Good News of the Gospel of hope!
You killed the brethren, Paul!
You tortured them up against a wall.
How many times must I explain?
For His sake, even beheaded and slain!
Yes, that was my past.
But now, at last...
I, no longer am that murderer - Saul.
Cleansed by His blood, I have become Saint Paul!

Also, it’s about not letting guilt, shame and the past weigh you down because that was a different person….
Your hearts and minds must be made completely new, and to put on the new man who has been created in God’s image–in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.- Ephesians 4:23-24
The old man was born of Adam, this new man is born of the Spirit.
Thank you for reading, Sally.
