The owner of a vineyard had two sons. He first went to the elder one. Asked him to go there and do some work. But to this request the son first denied and shirked. Then he went to the younger son. The same question by him, he did run. This one willingly said yes, but in reality couldn't care less. What do you think is better? Definitely, the son who said no and came around later! I tell you, tax collectors and prostitutes Are going before you and bearing good fruits. When John the Baptist came. They believed and stopped playing their game. The Kingdom of God is near. Yet you refuse to change your ways it appears. Let me tell you another story about this land owner. He planted a vineyard, dug a hole for a winepress. But he had to leave, with no time to care and address. So he let it out to some tenants. In that property were none of his descendants. At harvest time he sent slaves to receive. But of his share, the tenants did deceive. They killed one slave he sent to collect. Stoned another, beat up the third in absolute disrespect. The owner sent some slaves all the more. In peace they came but the same result bore. Finally the owner sent his only son. Thinking the tenants will have some respect at least for this one. For property now, even more incentive to kill. The only son of the owner sent in good will. What must this owner do? He gave them many chances, they very well knew. Shouldn't he hand it over to people who at the right time Give him his share of harvest without committing crime? The stone the builders rejected as worthless has become the cornerstone, the backbone. This annoyed the Pharisees and the chief priests. But believed to be a prophet, the crowds he did please. A king invited, to his son's wedding feast. lots of important guests to fill the seats. But when no one turned up He sent his servants to follow up. Reminding the guests of the grandeur laid out. Merely awaiting their presence, without a doubt. The original guests did not bother. They went about their business and did slaughter... ...the messengers, who had come with invitation to the kingdom, wasn't that dumb? So the king burned down their cities Their pride and all that was pretty. After this response from the undeserving guests, the king sent out his servants to bring in the rest. People from everywhere. Good and bad, he did not care. Now the invitation was extended to all. Anyone could come, whoever heard the call. So the marriage hall was filled. The prince had already paid the bill. But amongst them all was a man who stood tall. Inappropriately dressed without the wedding vest. The king went down to him. Politely asked why he wasn't dressed. But when the man ignored, the king in anger roared. Throw him out into the darkness Take him up for his heart's hardness. There he will weep and gnash his teeth. In regret while he lay underneath. ---****---****----****----****----****----****---- As we know the church is the bride. And for her, the groom Jesus - He died. The church is not a physical structure. Or a multinational organisation with the Pope as conductor. We, the people are the body of Christ. The father of the groom is God, that's right! To the chosen people of the fifth covenant, Christ was revealed, after subsequent... prophets and martyred men of God were tortured and rejected in daylight, broad. So to the Gentiles and the rest of the world and pagans did, the kingdom unfold. Many are invited, but few are chosen. To partake in the feast, this is your token. You must be clothed in the wedding robe. The breastplate of righteousness is your only hope. You can enter marked by the blood stamp, the sixth and final covenant, sealed with the blood of the Lamb. -RUELHA www.ruelha.com (Inspired by Matthew 21:28-45 and 22:1-14)
This poem is part of a series of rhymes titled βThe Matthew Seriesβ. This is the 22nd poem in the series. They are all based on the gospel of Matthew and are in the correct sequence. Here are few of my favorites:

The key take away for any devout Christian to remember is Jesus Christ knows our hearts and perfectly, so, there is no deceiving He who will judge every soul, and our duty is to be as faithfully well prepared for that judgment as we can be by living as righteously as we possibly can. That is a tall order and many are called but few are chosen. I believe the most upright among us are the potential chosen ones, and anyone else will need God’s mercy all the more which is greater than His judgment; that was why He sent His only begotten Son the Messiah, He so Holy and Pure, among a world of sinners none of which was worthy to be in God’s presence, but, because of His infinite love He gave us all the opportunity to accept His gift of Love and Salvation through His redemptive process by our eating of His body and blood the New and Everlasting Covenant, whereby consuming His word and absolute truth in order for us to grow in the Spirit, filling our hearts with it in order to be acceptable to Him before the judgment seat of the Most High, God Almighty. Thank you for sharing Ruelha.

You won’t believe this…..but I was never interested in poetry my whole life and I always thought it was extremely difficult and was in awe of people who could rhyme two lines….I could never rhyme anything. But now, I write one poem a day since the past few months ….and I really dont know how!
In fact I even think in rhymes now days and come up with about 5 different poems in a day but have time for just one at max….it’s all God’s graceπ€ππΌππ€πππΌππΌππ€ Part of me still can’t fathom how I’m able to write poems!ππ ππ€£π€

Yes, I understand -GOD has given you this gift from above to bring HIM praise, honor, and glory… The gifts HE gives are amazing to us, since we did not have the ability beforehand. It is unique to you, your personality, and your identity to have this special communion with our LORD and Savior JESUS and then to share this gift with others for them to also know HIM better…
