Review of Good Vibes Havana Mango Shampoo and Conditioner

  • Packaging: I am very happy with the packaging of this product. It’s a plastic pump bottle. I purchased the smaller one which has 120 ml of product while the bigger bottles house 200 ml. The bottle is sturdy and attractive. It is well protected with good quality plastic wrap to prevent spills and mishandling before purchase. You have to tear the plastic wrap to get access to the product. The 120 ml bottles are very travel friendly unless you want to keep it in your cabin baggage on an airplane. Because in the cabin, you cannot carry liquids over 100 ml each container.

  • Fragrance : I read a lot of reviews about the delicious mango fragrance. But I noticed it is a rather mild. Also, it has a very artificial type of mango smell. ..reminds me of the mango essence we use in baking and sweets. It is not lingering either.
  • Pricing : The pricing is fair. The original price for a 120 ml shampoo bottle is INR 165. But I paid INR 149. The original price for a 200 ml shampoo bottle is INR 225. The original price for a 120 ml conditioner bottle is INR 175. But I got two for 175. There was a BOGO (buy one, get one) offer that day.
  • Claims: The manufacturer says the mango( hence Vitamin C) in this shampoo and also the conditioner promote collagen production for healthier hair and scalp. It helps with anti-breakage, dandruff treatment, hair growth, hair repair, hair shine, hair thickening, moisturizing, nourishing and it stops hairfall. These products are cruelty free and paraben free.
MANGO shampoo
  • Ingredients: These are the active ingredients Mango, Mango Butter, Mango Oil, Mango Seed, Vitamin C. The shampoo does contain Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphateand alcohol. Both the shampoo and conditioner are perfumed.

  • Experience : I thought the shampoo was like most commercial shampoos. I won’t say it’s bad. But it’s not wow either. It lathers well and gets your hair and scalp clean without over-drying. The conditioner is a disappointment. It is not moisturising at all. In fact it does not feel very creamy during application. So I used a heap of product and it didn’t soften or smoother my hair. It’s just average. I have experienced products far worse. So I won’t complain too much. It’s an average range.
  • Verdict: I do not recommend this shampoo or conditioner and I will not be repurchasing the Havana Mango shampoo or conditioner again.

  1. Most people have no clue that shampoos that grow your hair faster and longer (obviously with no sulfates, no parabens and no DEA) are even a thing. We all can now attain longer hair and experience more alternatives. Surely worth looking into it.

Whether you’re considering alopecia, hair damage, preventing hair disorders, fast hair growth, hair and scalp health normally, almost the same ideas apply.

As a general rule, you will want to avoid hair treatments and products that use chemicals such as parabens, DEA and sulfates.

What is beneficial for your hair is healthy for your skin as well.

For obvious reasons your content here is so useful for many reasons. It avoids the usual traps and mistakes too many fall into: getting horrible alternatives. Thank you so much!
