Grow with me baby; grow with me.
Let's grow in dependability and reliability.
Let's grow together,
entwined as a creeper.
Rooted in the same dream,
Bound by the bloodstream.
Open up and be honest,
while still in speech being modest.
It doesn't have to be a big plan,
but maybe not as small as repairing the fan.
Those chores will always be.
I'm talking big here, can't you see.
On small things of course, we'll disagree.
But those aren't things that should affect you and me.
It's time to break the old rib cage,
and feel more vulnerable at this stage.
As long as there is respect,
with dignity we can still correct.
Open the eyes of your heart and let me show you,
the many dreams I have gathered up here on these clouds for you.
As long as the intention is not to hurt,
any calamity we can avert.
Yes, there will be a lot of sacrifices to make.
Sometimes it will be me and sometimes you, for the relationship's sake.
And of course, the delicate balance,
of family and friends will be a challenge.
A man is truly rich,
when he and his family is in spirit enriched.
A few good friends by his side,
who aren't tainted with deceit and dyed.
Let's learn about each other and open up some more.
Not during an argument to attack and roar.
For any relationship needs a lot of patience.
And for what I am proposing, it will add a beautiful fragrance.
Lean on me, and only me.
I have a lot to offer, you will see.
But if you blink and loose control,
this wicked world will just swallow us both whole.
Lean on me, lean on me.
I have always had your best interest at heart, don't you see.
The world is enticing.
But they are all just conniving.
They're here today,
so long as you make hay.
Don't interrupt or belittle me.
I have something to offer, some day you'll see.
There is success and so much more,
waiting right here at this door.
So today I kneel and make my plea.
Will you accept? Will you marry me?
I didn't lace it all with a Valentine's Day theme,
because my love, I'm not selling you a false dream.
But what I offer you is so much more.
If only you could soften your heart towards me and open your closed door....
Because you see my love, we were always meant to be,
one body and one spirit - just like the sand and sea.
Nobody can seperate you and me.
Because we were always meant to be.
So marry me, marry me!
From this day, let it only be me.
- RUELHA
