My favourite colour has got to be Pink.
Of that, there is no way I've got to rethink.
Just about every shade from light to dark,
If you're dressed in pink, I'll definitely turn back and hark.
Pink is a colour of innocent sweetness.
Light is for tender meekness,
while darker shades remind me of everything that I represent:
The girl within me, appearing as a woman most frequent.
It is my inner most scent,
all that is genuinely me - one hundred percent.
Followed by Dark Green,
this is a colour that is crisp and clean.
Makes me feel aristocratic.
This colour is classy and not dramatic.
It makes me feel kind of formal.
Unlike all the vibrant colours on my list, this one's kind of normal.
I like green because it matches the outermost rim of my eyes.
This colour has since childhood been my favourite, until pink came off late to revolutionize.
Mango Yellow in no way you are mellow.
This colour to most may seem garish.
But, it's part of my personality that I most cherish.
My mum always told me - don't be mediocre.
I don't mind going against the grain, even if I look like a joker.
Find me someone who doesn't like White or Black!
Like a slate or a whiteboard, it's open to feedback.
An open mind and a willing heart,
you can always wipe the board and restart.
It's never too late, and all is never lost.
Even in trials and tribulations, whatever be the cost.
Those were my favourites, but I also like Wine/Burgundy and Dark Purple.
This mourning colour reminds me we are all so mortal.
It has both undertones of warm and cool.
It reminds me that adaptability is such a necessary tool.
Together we can all live in harmony,
if we make a conscious effort and practice that wilfully.
Turquoise and Blue,
they're okay too.
They're safe colours
for a hidden collar.
And then for me, the last of my preferred colours is Red.
I am unsure about this colour; it makes me feel divided in my head.
Sometimes I find this colour to be annoyingly outrageous.
On rare occassions, it moves from being shameless to gracious.
And sometimes, when I want to feel empowered in a way,
I add something red, like a lipstick to shape my day.
All of these colours are dimensions to my personality.
I loathe dull colours like cream and grey; they just don't manifest my whimsicality!
To me, colours represent freedom,
much unlike those caged in boredom.
Colours are like flavours of choice,
to those who are passive and have no voice.
A rainbow is a sign of hope,
of all good things promised in that enclosed envelope.

Both , I came to realize that spiritual discipline and inner peace is the greatest divine wealth …
I loved light blue and light green since early childhood …
When the night gets dark
And the clouds emit a lightening spark ,
Water would nourish us with rain ,
to bring joy and transcend the pain ,
All things happen through us to gain ,
For our balance to regain ,

Spiritual wealth is eternal , everlasting and always renewed or replenished …
Spiritual wealth lasts forever and after Job has endured pain , he recovered , was blessed transcended , and double of his his previous worldly wealth he gained …

That’s absolutely true….I couldn’t agree more! Nothing hereπ will last forever, rather wise to collect treasures that rust and moths cannot destroy and thieves cannot break in and stealπ

These treasure do nat fade away , can not be stolen or taken …They last as long as God gives you life and even after we transition or transform from one life form to another or reincarnate even if reincarnation happens on another planet as far as the stars …

A brilliant poem Ruelha, I never thought it would be possible to write a poem about something as simple as colours, and yet at the same time also make it about such fundamental ideas. Well done, this poem displays pure creativity and ingenuity.
