When Jesus finished giving the disciples instructions,
John sent his men to receive confirmation.
Are you truly the One, the Messiah...
of whom the prophets spoke Micah and Isaiah?
Go then back and tell John,
of all these miracles I have performed.
Happy are those who have no doubt.
And as John's disciples were leaving, Jesus spoke about...
Of all the prophets John is the greatest.
Because he paved for me, the latest.
Yet whosoever is least in the Kingdom of Heaven (Spirit/new Covenant) is greater than John.
Because after the resurrection, the Helper will bring in a new dawn.
Up until now, the prophets only spoke of the Kingdom to come.
John proclaimed near is the Kingdom, so darkness and sin you must overcome.
Before the Son of Man, you were promised Elijah.
But Elijah (John) has already come and introduced the Messiah.
Listen God tried in every way.
Men only criticized and challenged away.
After all the miracles that were performed in front of you,
Still didn't repent, none of you.
What was hidden from the wise and learned,
has been shown to the unlearned and uninformed.
My Father has given me all things.
I am the only way to the Heavenly King.
Come to me, and I will give you rest.
My yoke is easy and light is my vest.
